GCSC to Host Bay County's 1st LGBTQ Film Festival
The Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) at Gulf Coast State College along with Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians of Gays (PFLAG) is hosting Bay County’s first LGBTQ Film Festival October 21-22 called “Bridging Communities Through Film.”
The festival is a two-day event that will feature several LGBTQ-related film shorts, documentaries and feature-length films in an effort to bring people of different backgrounds together to view films and provide a deeper understanding of each other. The event will be held at two separate venues, with the opening reception and screenings beginning at the Panama City Center for the Arts in downtown Panama City on October 21. The following day, screenings will be held at the College’s Advanced Technology Center. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served at both venues.

- October 22 – GCSC’s Advanced Technology Center. Doors open at 4:00 p.m.
