Gulf Coast State College is dedicated to continuous improvement of online course design in an open and collegial environment. Quality Design (QD) is the official Gulf Coast State College (GCSC) internal peer review process that is derived from Quality Matters (QM), a research-based, best practice-informed rubric for reviewing online course design.

Quality Design Essentials Course

The purpose of the Quality Design (QD) Essentials course is to introduce you to the GCSC peer review process. The GCSC Quality Design rubric is the focus of this course and will introduce you to the concepts and course components proven to be effective in online course design.
