Parking
Student Parking
All motor vehicles (including motorcycles and motor scooters) driven and/or parked on any Gulf Coast State College Campus by students, faculty or staff must have a valid parking decal. All visitors remaining on campus longer than 45 minutes must display a valid temporary parking permit. These permits can be obtained at the Campus Information Desk.
Decals
Students are issued one new parking decal each academic year which will be valid until July 31. To receive your parking decal, you must bring your student ID and your license plate number, vehicle registration or a photo of your license plate.
Parking decals are issued at the Information Desk located on the first floor of the Robert L. McSpadden Student Union East.
Fees & Refunds
There is no charge for the first parking decal; however, there is a $5 non-refundable fee for each additional or replacement decal.
Visitors
Visitors to Gulf Coast State College can park in spaces marked "Visitor Parking" that are reserved for 45 minutes. If you need to be on campus for longer than 45 minutes, you will need a temporary parking pass from the Information Desk located on the first floor of the Robert L. McSpadden Student Union East building or from the Gulf Coast State College Welcome Center located in the Advanced Technology Center.
In special circumstances, visitors will receive special parking permits. Groups of visitors (i.e. participants in seminars, attendees of special events, such as athletic contests or performances, in the auditorium) are issued a special parking permit by the host office and will be directed to the proper parking area.
Special parking permits for events and activities are provided without charge and are valid only for the date(s) issued. Special parking permits should be displayed on the driver's side dashboard of the vehicle in such a manner that the expiration date of the permit is clearly visible.
