State Testing

The State EMS office has made several changes to the state exam.  Beginning August 1, 2018, all applicants initially applying for Florida State licensure as an EMT or Paramedic will be required to take the national examination administered by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Check with the State Medical Quality Assurance Department or MQA for more information.

You will need to complete an EMT or Paramedic State Application. For more information, contact the State EMS office at 850.245.4440.
