Who is eligible for the Dental Medicine Option, Liberal Arts AA program?
If you are a high school graduate, you can apply to this program. If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.

Completion of a bachelor’s degree is usually required before starting Dental School. It is assumed students will complete pre-requisite courses required or recommended by dental schools during their pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida offers many of the required or recommended pre-requisite courses a student can take in pursuit of an AA-Degree before transferring to a 4-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree. Gulf Coast State College has some of the lowest tuition rates in the state in addition to high-quality educational opportunities comparable to what is available at 4-year colleges or universities.
