Need it Now! Emergency Fund

The Need It Now! Emergency Fund is no longer available due to depletion of funds.

The Nursing Need It Now! Emergency Fund for students who are currently accepted in the LPN, RN, or BSN programs is still available.

The Need IT Now! Emergency Fund, funded by the Gulf Coast State College Foundation, is a possible option for Gulf Coast State College Students when a financial emergency arises.

Currently enrolled Gulf Coast State College students may apply for an award for the following reasons:

  • a financial emergency that may prevent the student from completing the semester
  • significant uncovered medical/dental expense for necessary treatment
  • transportation issues
  • critical housing or utility expenses
  • other critical financial issues

Awards will be based on the cost of the financial need up to $300.00

Documentation of the cost is required.

Students may receive up to one award per academic year.
