Fablab

Housed within the Advanced Technology Center at Gulf Coast State College, this lab space offers you assistance in creating your prototype or invention. The nation's only "pledge model" fabrication space may be able to assist you in turning your idea for a product or invention into a business.

  • 3D-Printers: From an advanced "liquid polyjet" to smaller Maker-Bots, the FabLab hosts a wide range of 3D printing and additive manufacturing equipment.
  • Laser Cutting: This system can engrave plastics, light metals and much more, down to fine
detail. Contact us to learn more about this asset and how we may be able to assist you.
  • Multi-Axis Mills and Lathes: The FabLab has two Haas systems capable of fabricating in metal, wood and plastic.

All of these resources are advanced systems that require training for use. We will be happy to share information on access to these systems and the training.
