Steps for Using LIGHTHOUSE

- Go to the Gulf Coast State College website.
- From any page click on the MyGCSC link at the top of the page.
- Enter your username, which will be your Student ID# (A00XXXXXX).
- Your INITIAL PASSWORD will be your date of birth in the format of MMDDYY (NOTE: i.e. June 16, 1984 would be 061684).
- Once Logged into myGCSC:
- Click Continue.
- Select your Security Questions.
- After setting up your security questions, you will first be prompted to enter your cell phone number, then prompted to enter an alternate email address. A one-time temporary password will be sent to verify information provided. Upon receipt of the one-time passwords, enter it and click "Continue".
- You will be routed to the option screen where you choose to login to Canvas, PaperCut, GCSC-Home or Lighthouse.
- Click the My Student Dashboard Tile
- Under Registration - Select Lighthouse
- Choose to Register for Classes
- Select Your Role - "Student" and Click OK to Proceed
- Click the Dropdown Menu to Choose the Correct Term and Select CONTINUE
- Search for Classes by Entering Course Information and Selecting SEARCH
- When You Find the Right Course - Click ADD and Repeat the Search Until Your Schedule is Complete
- Review Your Schedule and Click SUBMIT
- To Check/Pay Your Bill - Click My Student Profile and Locate Check/Pay Bill on the Left Side of the Screen
- Follow the Online Instructions for Payment Options
- Click on the My Student Dashboard Tile
- Click on My Student Profile
- Select the Options Available to View Your Financial Aid Information
- Click on the My Student Dashboard Tile
- Click on My Student Profile
- On the Left Side of the Screen - Select the Information You Wish to View Such as Transcripts, Student Schedule, or Run a Degree Evaluation
- Click on the My Student Dashboard Tile
- Click on Student Profile
- Holds and Registration Notices are Listed Under Your Name on the Top Right of the Screen - Click Holds to View Information
Click myGCSC and follow the instructions.
