Banner

Banner is the name of Gulf Coast State College's Enterprise Resource Planning system used by Human Resources, Financial Aid, Finance, and Student areas of the college. The software used for the system is Banner and is owned by Ellucian.

Self-Service Banner allows end-users to view and enter select information through the Web. For students and adjuncts, the Self-Service Applications are accessed by clicking the appropriate icon on MyGCSC. A student registering for their courses on the Web is an example of using a Banner Self-Service Application.

Banner Admin Forms allows the functional users to create the rules and setups for how data is managed. Enrollment Services creating class sections for future registration is an example of how Banner Admin Forms is used. Banner Admin Forms is accessed through MyGCSC
