The Florida ACME recognizes our military members and veterans with $1000 scholarship

The AIR FORCE AID SOCIETY (AFAS) is the official charity of the U.S. Air Force. It
promotes the Air Force mission by helping "to relieve distress of Air Force members

Best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans' families can
stay at no cost while a loved on is receiving treatment. They also provide additional

Their mission is "to stand in the financial cap of the more than one million dependents
adversely affected by war, providing educational scholarships to the children and
spouses of those killed or disabled while serving our nation: Folds of Honor website
The mission of the Foundation is to provide much needed financial resources to help
offset the cost of education. Scholarship application cycle begins January 1st and

The Defense Commissary Agency created the Scholarships for Military Children Program,
in recognition of the contributions of military families to the readiness of the fighting

Expenses of a college education go beyond tuition – textbooks, fees and more. There
are needs and challenges that can affect any student’s ability to successfully complete

Thanks USA has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children and
spouses of U.S. military service personnel (who have served at least 180 days since
09/11/01), including spouses and children of the Fallen and Wounded, who plan to continue
their education in college, vocational or technical school programs. Scholarships
are offered to dependent children for full-time study at a United States accredited
