ACME - Florida Advisory Council Military Education - The Florida ACME recognizes our military members and veterans with $1000 scholarship opportunities in four different categories annually:

Air Force Aid Society - The AIR FORCE AID SOCIETY (AFAS) is the official charity of the U.S. Air Force. It promotes the Air Force mission by helping "to relieve distress of Air Force members and their families and assisting them to finance their education":

Fisher House - Best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans' families can stay at no cost while a loved on is receiving treatment.  They also provide additional assistance through various programs and scholarship opportunities:

Folds of Honor - Their mission is "to stand in the financial cap of the more than one million dependents adversely affected by war, providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of those killed or disabled while serving our nation:

Gulf Coast State College Foundation - The mission of the Foundation is to provide much needed financial resources to help offset the cost of education.  Scholarship application cycle begins January 1st and ends April 15th of each year:

MG James Ursano Scholarship Fund (Army Emergency Relief) - Interest free loans, grants and scholarships for soldiers, retirees and families - Soldiers helping soldiers:

Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Scholarship Fund - Works to support military officers and their families at every stage of life, providing loans, scholarships and grants:

National Military Family Association (NMFA) - NMFA is the voice of military families  and offers military spouse scholarships, Operation Purple Camps and Family Retreats, and Healing Programs:

Pat Tillman Foundation - Founded in 2004, the Pat Tillman Foundation invests in military veterans and their spouses though academic - building a diverse community of leaders committed to service to others:

Scholarships for Military Children - The Defense Commissary Agency created the Scholarships for Military Children Program, in recognition of the contributions of military families to the readiness of the fighting force and to celebrate the role of the commissary in the military family community:

Thanks USA - ThanksUSA has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children and spouses of U.S. military service personnel (who have served at least 180 days since 09/11/01), including spouses and children of the Fallen and Wounded, who plan to continue their education in college, vocational or technical school programs. Scholarships are offered to dependent children for full-time study at a United States accredited institution of the student's choice:
